We are seeking an Sales Executive to join our Sales and Marketing team at MaritimeMT.

Job description

Conduct market research to identify sales opportunities, generate leads, and evaluate customer needs.
Set and achieve sales targets with effective strategies, and generate new sales leads through cold calling, networking, and social media.
Cultivate and maintain relationships with existing clients, close deals, and manage the complaints process.
Collaborate with team members and gather customer feedback to share with internal teams.
Prepare and present quotes to potential clients, and coordinate course delivery by liaising with other colleagues.
Align sales strategies with marketing activities and handle administrative tasks related to sales operations.
Plan and organise events to engage clients and promote sales.

Qualifications and other requirements:

Proven track record in meeting sales targets with excellent networking skills and the ability to build connections naturally.
Strong drive to understand and meet customer needs, working independently and as part of a team.
Excellent command of English, with previous experience in the maritime or yachting industry preferred.

Job description

Contributing towards the planning, development, verification and validation of courses as necessary.
Participate in reviews of the courses as necessary.
Participate in the reviews of the learning material as necessary.
Participate in the course analysis as necessary.
Deliver the course in a format that is compliant with the requirements of this Quality Management System (QMS).
Ensure proper use of training equipment and facilities.
Develop and implement courses on the Learning Management System (LMS).
Assist the Principal with any technical related matters including QMS related activities.
Act as assessor and internal verifier if necessary.
Provide technical support to prospective customers.
Planning, managing and controlling the development of training programmes.
Conducting research to keep up to date with changes happening within the maritime industry including changes happening to regulations and standards.

Requirements:

Must hold an OIC Unlimited CoC as per STCW Reg II/1, but holding a Master Mariner CoC as per STCW Reg II/2 will be considered an asset.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Good presentation and organisation skills.
