Electrical Technician

Malta Freeport Terminals is seeking an Electrical Technician to join its team and gain practical, hands-on experience with the electronic systems in our equipment.

Key responsibilities:

• Diagnose electrical and mechanical malfunctions or failures.
• Perform regular inspections, maintenance, and repairs on electrical equipment and systems.
• Learn about electronic systems and equipment operation.
• Follow safety procedures and company standards at all times.

What we’re looking for:

• Level 4 NVQ National Engineering Diploma in Electrical/Electronics or equivalent.
• Licence A & B (considered an asset).
• Knowledge of power electronics (AC-DC converters, AC-AC inverters), PLC automation, and ability to read electrical drawings/circuits (considered an asset).
