Marina Assistant

Department: Marina Operations

Requirements: A capable, practical individual who is looking for an active, varied job. Must love boats and have at least basic boat handling and handyman skills. This is a customer facing role. Safety, fire fighting and first aid skills are a bonus but not essential as training will be provided. The individual must either have the Nautical Licence or be prepared to take and pass the Nautical Licence within the first 3 months of employment.

Job Description: The Marina Assistant will take part in all the operations of the Marina, including assisting with berthing, carrying out preventive and general maintenance, providing security coverage, pollution control and being the first responder in an emergency.
