We are looking for an ambitious, hands-on Deputy Duty Manager to join our dynamic team. This is a high-impact role in a fast-paced, high-volume, and competitive environment that is constantly evolving.

About the Role:

As Deputy Duty Manager, you will assist the Duty Manager in overseeing terminal operations, with a particular focus on vessel operations and crane productivity.

Your Key Responsibilities will include:

• Optimise vessel port-stay: Ensure minimal port-stay for vessels by strategically managing real-time crane operations, leveraging the Terminal Operating System (TOS) and other advanced decision-support tools.
• Operational planning and execution: Coordinate seamlessly with Equipment Control and Planning teams to ensure smooth operational flow.
• Proactive operational support: Ensure that every Point of Work (POW) is consistently supported with the appropriate Container Handling Equipment (CHE), mitigating any risk of operational disruption.

To excel in this role, candidates should possess:

• Six years of experience in terminal operations or a closely related field.
• MQF Level 5 certification and IOSH certification (highly desirable).
• Experience with Terminal Operational System (N4 -Navis), is an advantage.
