Dry Dock Training Course
The Dry Dock Training Course provides in-depth technical guidance on the process of drydocking ships, vessels and yachts. The course begins with the basic principles and safety concerns, and then progresses through all phases of drydocking; preparation and planning, drydocking, lay period, and undocking. The course ends with a discussion of past accidents. With over 150 years of dry dock experience, the Consultants bring clarity and organization to an otherwise complex set of drydocking principles.
Efficient Deckhand (EDH Transport Malta)
Efficient Deckhand is a practical and theory-based course of which is designed to give students the necessary knowledge and skills to become a proficient seafarer onboard.
Electronic Chart Display and Information Systems (ECDIS) STCW Table A-II/1 and A-II/2
This course exists to serve deck officers engaged in watchkeeping duties and other interested personnel by instructing them on the safe and efficient use of ECDIS. Seafarers requiring deck certificates of competency must complete this STCW course as part of their Officer training.
Engine Driver Grade 2 (TM - P&Y)
Engineer of vessels with propulsion machinery of maximum continuous power of 750kW, operating commercially within territorial waters.
Fast Rescue Boat STCW A-VI/2-2
This FRB course meets the minimum standard of competence to handle and take charge of such boats during or after launch in adverse weather and sea conditions. The Model course used to develop this course is IMO Model course 1.24.
Food Handling Course Category B Licence
Suitable for people working in Hospitality who are directly involved in the preparation, production, and handling of food.
General Purpose Hand (GPH)
Can crew any commercial vessel within Ports, Internal and Territorial Waters of Malta, in accordance with the Manning Requirements of respective commercially registered vessels.
