Assistant Mooring Personnel

Job Description
We at Malta Boatmen & Mooring Services are looking for an Assistant Mooring Personnel to assist in the mooring and unmooring of vessels in Valletta and Marsaxlokk Ports. Our history dates back to the 1920s–30s, when Barklori rowed pilots to war vessels entering Grand Harbour. From wooden motor boats in the 1960s to the Halmatic Pilot Launches of the 1970s, still in use today, our work remains an essential part of Malta’s maritime tradition.

Requirements:

• 18 years or over
• Able to read and write in Maltese and English
• Clean and valid driving licence
• General Purpose Hand Certificate
• Free training to be provided
