QHSE Supervisor

Malta Freeport Terminals is seeking to recruit a dedicated QHSE Supervisor to join our team. The successful applicant will support the implementation of safety policies, procedures, and practices across our operations. This role plays a vital part in ensuring full compliance with local regulations, international standards, and our internal safety guidelines, safeguarding our employees, contractors, visitors, equipment, and cargo.

As a key member of our safety team, the selected applicant will take an active role on the ground, enforcing safety requirements and fostering a strong culture of safety and continuous improvement. Collaboration with terminal management, operational teams, and external stakeholders will be crucial to promoting excellence in all safety-related matters.

We’re looking for a candidate who brings:

• A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience working in medium- to high-risk environments, ideally within ports, shipping, logistics, or heavy industry.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.
• Fluency in both Maltese and English.
• Proven ability to conduct risk assessments and implement control measures with confidence and assertiveness.

The selected candidate will also be required to obtain the NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) during the one-year probation period. This certification will be fully sponsored by the company.

A shift pattern for the selected individual will be introduced in 2026.
