We are seeking a dedicated maritime lecturer to play a pivotal role in shaping the next generation of maritime professionals. Your mission will be to deliver exceptional education, ensuring all training adheres strictly to our accredited Quality Management System and the standards set by the competent education authority. A key part of your responsibility will be to actively maintain and update our curriculum, guaranteeing that our students learn from the most current and relevant material in the industry.
๐๐ก๐๐ญ ๐ฐ๐โ๐ซ๐ ๐ฅ๐จ๐จ๐ค๐ข๐ง๐ ๐๐จ๐ซ:
- Contributing towards the planning, development, verification and validation of courses as necessary.
- Participate in reviews of the courses and learning material as necessary.
- Deliver the course in a format that is compliant with the requirements of MaritimeMTโs Quality Management System (QMS).
- Ensure proper use of training equipment and facilities.
- Make use of our Learning Management System (LMS) to deliver the training programmes.
- Assist the Principal with any technical related matters including QMS related activities.
- Act as assessor and internal verifier if necessary.
- Provide technical support to prospective customers.
- Operate as a collaborative and communicative team player, building strong working relationships with colleagues across all departments to align academic delivery with operational, administrative, and quality functions.
- Conducting research to keep up to date with changes happening within the maritime industry including changes happening to regulations and standards.
- Any other duties that the employer may deem fit from time to time.
The ideal candidate should be/have:
- Must hold a Chief Mate Unlimited CoC as per STCW Reg II/2, but holding a Master Mariner Unlimited CoC as per STCW Reg II/2 will be considered an asset.
- Effective teaching and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students
