The GMDSS GOC (General Operators Certificate) course, as per IMO Model Course 1.25, is designed to meet the requirements of the STCW Convention, Table A-IV/2, for SOLAS vessels operating in sea areas A1, A2, A3 and A4, and satisfying the provisions of the Radio Regulations of the International Telecommunication Union (ref.
