General Purpose Hand can crew any commercial vessel within Ports, Internal and Territorial Waters of Malta, in accordance with the Manning Requirements of respective commercially registered vessels.

Learning Outcomes

  • To reach the minimum standards of competence as set by Transport Malta.
  • Competent in modules covering elements of shipboard safety, practical seamanship, occupational health and safety and workplace communications.

  • Applicant must be at least 17 years of age
