IMO OPRC Level 1 - Operational This course is designed for all personnel who may be called upon to respond in an operational role during an oil spill response including at-sea, in the air, on the shoreline or inshore, on-land.

Learning Objectives
Delegates will gain an understanding of all aspects of oil spill response including the fate and behaviour of oil in the marine and shore environments, the principles of Incident Management from a field perspective, health and safety aspects of oil spill response, response techniques at-sea and on-shore, be able to implement an efficient response utilising different response techniques, gain an understanding of waste and post-incident operations.
The course is based on the new IMO OPRC Model Course - Level 1 - Operational Level.
