GMDSS ROC STCW IV/2

The GMDSS ROC (Restricted Radio Operator's Certificate) course, as per IMO Model Course 1.26, is designed to meet the requirements of the STCW Convention, Table A-IV/2 for Sea Area 1 Only.

Leadership and Teamwork - Operational Level STCW Table II/1 and III/1

This course is intended to provide seafarers with the knowledge, skills & understanding of leadership and teamwork at the operational level on board a ship. Seafarers requiring certificates of competency must complete this STCW course as part of their Officer training.

Medical Care STCW A-VI/4

This course is for seafarers designated to take charge of medical care on board ships and for those requiring certificates of competency.

This course is for seafarers designated to provide first aid on board ship and for those requiring certificates of competency.

Proficiency in Designated Security Duties (PDSD) STCW A-VI/6

This course is aimed at giving the necessary security training to seafarers of whom are specified to have designated duties onboard under the Ships Security Plan.

Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boats, other than Fast Rescue Boats (PSCRB) FULL STCW A-VI/2-1

This course trains crew to be able to launch and take charge of a survival craft or rescue boat in emergency situations, in accordance with section A-VI/2 of the STCW Code. Seafarers requiring deck certificates of competency must complete this STCW course as part of their Officer training.

Proficiency in Survival Craft and Rescue Boats, other than Fast Rescue Boats (PSCRB) REFRESHER STCW A-VI/2-1

This course is the refresher training for crew to be able to launch and take charge of a survival craft or rescue boat in emergency situations, in accordance with section A-VI/2 of the STCW Code. Seafarers requiring deck certificates of competency must complete this STCW course as part of their Officer training and need to do a REFRESHER course every 5 years.

RADAR ARPA - Management Level STCW Table A-II/2

The aim of this course is to meet the mandatory minimum standards of competence for seafarers in Navigation for the Function: Maintain safe navigation through the use of information from navigation equipment and systems to assist command decision-making at the Management Level as specified in table A-II/2 of the STCW Code.

RADAR ARPA - Operational Level STCW Table A-II/1

This course provides training in the theory and use of radar for officers in charge of a navigational watch. Seafarers requiring deck certificates of competency must complete this STCW course as part of their Officer training.

Seafarers requiring management-level certificates of competency must complete this STCW course as part of their Officer training.

Engine Driver Grade 2 (TM - P&Y)

Engineer of vessels with propulsion machinery of maximum continuous power of 750kW, operating commercially within territorial waters.

General Purpose Hand (GPH)

Can crew any commercial vessel within Ports, Internal and Territorial Waters of Malta, in accordance with the Manning Requirements of respective commercially registered vessels.

Boat Master Grade 1 / Mate - Restricted - (TM - P&Y)

Mate/Master (Restricted)

With the Mate/Master training course you will obtain a qualification to serve as Mate on commercial vessels of 24metres in length and over as well as a Master on commercial vessels of less than 50metres in length, operating within the ports, internal and territorial waters of Malta.
