Interior Hospitality Yacht Training | Level 1

For anyone looking to start their career within the interior department onboard a superyacht, then you would certainly be advised to start here. The Interior Hospitality Yacht Training | Level 1 course, based on the GUEST Introduction training, will give anyone a huge advantage to both finding the right employment as well bringing the relevant skills and value to a first onboard positon.

Description

This course provides a solid introduction to a junior interior crew member by providing the relevant basic skills and awareness of the role and expectations.
 
The Introduction Level is made up of 4 GUEST modules, run over 5 days:
  1. UNIT 02 – Basic Food and Beverages service
  2. UNIT 03 – Basic Wine, Bartending & Mixology
  3. UNIT 23 – Introduction to Yachting
  4. UNIT 32 – Basic Housekeeping & Laundry Services

Upon completing the above modules, participants are encouraged to also complete the STCW Basic Safety Training and the Food Handling Course Category Licence B.

Prerequisites

  • Be 17 years or older
  • Hold a valid seafarers medical (IMO/ILO)
  • Proficient in the English Language
